Fiesta is not defined by a single performance, parade, or celebration, but by the way an entire city comes together to honor its history. It can be found in the sound of music drifting through the Sunken Gardens, in horses moving along the waterfront, in generations of families wearing traditional dress, and in the gathering of friends beneath Santa Barbara’s summer sky. More than one hundred years after the celebration began, Old Spanish Days Fiesta continues to preserve the traditions, culture, and community spirit that make Santa Barbara unlike anywhere else.
